"Rosanna made me feel welcome - my insurance was the same, sos all I had to do was update personal data, and sign okay to treat papers. The Polish? technition? Tatyana? was very efficient and Samantha Liam was very beautiful, but I knew she was married. The only problem was that i didn't have any questions already thought through before I came, and so they didn't get answered. Once i got home some questions arose, but it was too late to ask. Kelly helped me reschedule for next year when my insurance will reset, and she was not only cordial, but encouraging because she did what my mom used to do- let me know that I'm making good decisions. "Dr Mills was a very kind and attentive doctor. I went to see him thinking that I had a gallbladder problem. He ordered an ultrasound to make sure that everything was okay including my kidney, liver etc. I received a call from the office stating that it was an issue with my right kidney not my gallbladder. He suggested to his staff to contact my primary to refer me to a kidney specialist and order a more in-depth test. Went through the process of seeing a kidney doctor but even the kidney doctor said that Dr Mills could have ordered the test and skipped seeing the kidney doctor until the other test results came back. I will definitely keep Dr Mills in mind for any gastro intestinal issues, if any, in the future."

"Having been a patient of Dr. Mayer for almost five years now (since I relocated here), I have never experienced a negative encounter with him. As a patient, I am somewhat of an enigma due to gastrointestinal issues that are complicated by cardiovascular conditions. With all of the complications associated with multi-system issues, he has demonstrated a high level of knowledge about my care. I have literally been rescued from death more than once by him. I am treated with respect by him and he considers what I have to say regarding my physical condition. When my blood work revealed things that were outside of his scope of practice, he referred me to great doctors who are now part of my health care team. The care of my health is explicitly entrusted to him. Another physician had suggested that I needed scopes, but he did not feel that they were necessary, even though he could have done them and made money off of them. If I am in the hospital, it is he who sees me and follows my case. His recall of my medical history is an impressive feat. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Gastroenterologist."

"From check-in, to seeing the Doctor, the practice was extremely professional and very patient-centered. The front desk staff waited on me promptly and had all the new patient paperwork ready and waiting, along with an explanation of what I was required to sign, and why. As I was completing the paperwork they took the co-pay. Very efficient process. Within five minutes I was called back by a very professionally-polite nurse who took my vitals and preliminary information, and just a few minutes after that, the doctor came in. Dr. Anupama Duddempudi was very pleasant, professional, and personable. She listened to my concerns, and actually had a conversation with me regarding my health, as opposed to talking “at” me, as has been my experience with other physicians. What’s more, she took the time to explain the series of tests I would need, and the reasons for each test. If this interaction was gauged on a 1-10 scale, Dr. Duddempudi would be a solid 10. Generally speaking, I would rather slam my head in the car door than go to a medical appointment, but not this time. I had a sense of peace during my visit with Dr. Duddempudi. She and the Austin Gastroenterology staff were awesome!!! They all set the bar extremely high for service excellence in their respective duties."

"Dr. Victor and his entire office team are caring, professional and great at all they do . However the phone service is very challenging. They are very polite, but due to apparently not being medical professionals (difficulty understanding medication names and medical conditions) as well as not entirely proficient with English as their primary language, it is a difficult and arduous process to complete the medical phone assessment as required when scheduling an appointment to see Dr. Victor. I again was required to go through this service when calling to apologize and reschedule my missed appointment. The ability to for me to speak directly with office staff (which I was ultimately able to do & they were great) would have saved us all time an and a few calls back and forth. I reported all of this to office staff at my visit and was told that frustration with the phone service is shared by often by many patients."
