"Let’s be real! A gastroscopy is not exactly fun so it is imperative to find the right facility and the right doctor to get your procedure done right. Dr Alejandro Pruitt is that guy so give the office a call to schedule your procedure. The most important step (albeit the worst part of the deal) is the prep the night before. My advice is do not cheat. Your need to be cleaned out or the scope cannnot show what is/is not there. So bite the bullet and do what Dr Pruitt tells you to do and make the best of your visit. Also, the IV sedation is great so you will be surprised it is all over when you wake up! So do not wait or put it off. You can do it! Best wishes."

I meet the anesthesiologist in the prep room but didn’t see her again. You have a large operation, and this is the first time that I was allowed to walk to my car after a procedure. Maybe cause the anesthesia was different? At other offices I was wheeled to my car. I’m to have a colonoscopy there next year. Will I be allowed to walk out on my own? Also, after the procedure I was given my paperwork which included information about anesthesia being a separate service from your facility. So, I had an anesthesiologist assistant or whatever the technical name is? That information would have been nice to know ahead of time. Other than that, I was pleased with the service. I like Dr. Pruitt. He’s very professional. Thanks."
