"The office was well staffed and I did not have to wait long once I was checked in. The nursing staff was very pleasant. Vitals were check and I was taken to the exam room. Dr. Leung and staff showed up a few minutes later and explained how the procedure would progress. Next thing I knew it was over and he explained how things went. The anesthesia did not linger and I felt great. I would recommend WAG and Dr. Leung if you need a colonoscopy."

However as a complaint he is so good that if you having a GI medical condition, he is liked so much, you can't get an apt for right away, I seen him recently he said to make a follow up apt, this is February and his next available is June. So I make an apt with, his PA and she is also, very nice and I am okay to see her as well. She is very good about explaining things and what to do next."

I felt this from the nurses that took my information for my file, and from the nurses that explained how to prepare for my procedure. Everything was explained to me in detail while I was being carefully screened and evaluated during check-in and prep for my procedures, and and I was given full opportunity to ask questions as needed. The entire staff was both professional and caring. My procedures went smoothly and I was made comfortable during this time. Post-procedure, I was attended to carefully and given high quality care and monitoring, with ongoing instructions given for easing my recovery. A nursing staff member explained my written post-procedure packet, then Dr. Leung came in to debrief me further on the procedure and initial results, and to follow up on a previous discussion of my digestive system care, medication and lifestyle. I will receive a written letter shortly with the lab results of the samples taken from my procedure, and a follow-up office visit has already been scheduled. "I was thoroughly impressed with this office. I was referred by my PCP for a specialist consult and endoscopic exam. I called ahead to see if my unique insurance arrangement would be compatible with their office and they stated that it was. Well, they were halfway correct - the doctor was in network but the actual imaging center was not. The doctor sat down with me and personally went through his phone/google until he found another GI specialist that he trusted who was in-network with my insurance. Then they refunded the entire amount of my office visit. "One of the most professional doctors I have had. Four years ago I had some stomach pains and Dr. Friedman was not one to just throw meds at me. He offered up an Endoscopy to take a look before he could make an accurate diagnosis. Glad I did, he discovered I had the H-Pylori bacteria, which can become very serious if not taken care of. He put me on antibiotics and I was back to normal. Fast forward present, I was experiencing bad acid reflux, so I went back to Dr. Friedman. He could tell I was worried about having hpylori again. He offered to start work earlier the next morning and squeeze me in for an endoscopy. Who does that? A great doctor does that! He found a polyp in my esophagus and removed it. Biopsy also came back negative for h-pylori and life is good again. Great bedside manor. He's thorough in explaining everything you want to know and answered all my questions. Office staff are also extremely helpful and friendly."
