"Dr. Desai was a God send (literally) when I almost died from chronic pancreatitis last spring. My pancreas was almost destroyed by a gall stone blockage and there was very little left. Dr. Desai is one of few specialists that knows how to treat this illness with minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Desai’s right hand person Amber was also invaluable in the treatment process. She was and is always available to deal with questions or concerns as I am still healing after 6 months. As I continue to meet with Dr. Desai during my healing, he is the most caring and patient Dr. I have EVER known. He truly cares about his patients and is amazingly skilled at what he does. If you are on the other side of the world and have ANY Gastro issues, especially concerning the pancreas, I would suggest making the effort to contact him. I could go on and on. I’ll leave it at this - HE WAS AND IS A GIFT FROM GOD!!!"

"This was my initial appointment with Dr. Desai's office. I was referred to him by another doctor. My appointment was for 8:15AM and I was seen a few minutes early. The staff was kind and courteous and very attentive. My vitals were taken quickly and efficiently. Dr. Desai was generous with his time and patience in explaining to me and reviewing some recent results, making sure I had an understanding of my condiditon, and we spoke about a plan of action going forward. He was more than accommodating with his schedule to match my schedule and availability. In addition, I found Dr. Desai to be friendly, reassuring, and kind. The visit ended with both a scheduled procedure and some information for me concerning my outpatient visit in a few weeks. I could not ask for more as an first time patient."

Dr.Desai and his colleagues listen to what you’re actually saying and ask appropriate follow-up questions to help better understand your problem. They also helped me understand some things that I needed clarification over the course of my appointment. Other gastroenterologists I’ve been to seem a bit more dismissive or nonchalant on their diagnoses, which is probably why I’ve had continuing problems throughout the years. I’m not yet cured of my ailments, but I’m confident that this will be the last place I’ll need to go to. Would highly recommend."

Talked with me for 20 minutes about all my questions and concerns. He also does this is a non-condescending way. No one wants to have to see a gastroenterologist, but if you need one, I’d hands down recommend Dr. Desai!"
