Through my procedure and even after while I was in recovery he kept me informed. I chose to do my procedure without anastasia (not doing that again lol) Dr. Rameriz told me if I felt at all uncomfortable we would stop and reschedule. That infact did happen. "I was recently referred to Dr. Oscar Ramirez for a colonoscopy. He was professional, compassionate, and thorough. He explained the procedure and prepared me for it. The anesthesiologist explained his role as well. After the procedure, the doctor came in to see me and explain what he had found. The diverticulosis he found was negligible. He found a fairly good sized polyp that he felt was not cancerous. He removed it so it would not cause problems in the future, and sent it to a lab for testing. He took pictures of the procedure, and gave them to me to take home, and answered all of my questions. I was very happy with him."
