Through my procedure and even after while I was in recovery he kept me informed. "As a military retiree I have been seen almost exclusively at military facilities. Due to non- availability at the military hospital I was referred to the civilian sector. Having to coordinate my own appointment I contacted Dr. Ramirez's office and was screened courteously and professionally by the staff and was given an appointment date. I arrived for the appointment and was soon ushered in to my meeting with Dr. Ramirez. We discussed my case and was appreciative of the genuine and caring attitude of Dr. Ramirez. "I was recently referred to Dr. Oscar Ramirez for a colonoscopy. He was professional, compassionate, and thorough. He explained the procedure and prepared me for it. The anesthesiologist explained his role as well. After the procedure, the doctor came in to see me and explain what he had found. The diverticulosis he found was negligible. He found a fairly good sized polyp that he felt was not cancerous. He removed it so it would not cause problems in the future, and sent it to a lab for testing. He took pictures of the procedure, and gave them to me to take home, and answered all of my questions. I was very happy with him."
