"I recently visited the Gastroenterology department at Bellevue for the first time. I felt extremely unsure due to my limited English. As it turned out, I was worrying for nothing. The friendliness and willingness to help, combined with professionalism and kindness, absolutely reassured me. They immediately provided me with a translator. It is important for me to understand everything well, especially when it comes to my health. We had a great dialogue. I am very satisfied with the patient care at this clinic."

"I trust Dr. Selinger completely with my care for both my endoscopic & colonoscopies care. She is easy to talk to & she really listens. She explains everything so that I understand completely. She discovered that I have Barrett’s Esophagus in 2003 & has managed my care so that the initial diagnosis of short segmented Barrett’s has remained “short segmented” and has not spread higher up my esophagus or worse became cancerous. She has also been vigilant on removing the polyps that grow in my intestinal track. I would rate her as a strong 10+"

"Overall a positive experience. All personnel was friendly and proficient. Just three minor gripes. 1) Prior to the procedure the office over-communicated. Paperwork, sample paperwork, confirmation in email, text, snail mail, and via phone call. There was so much duplicate paperwork and communications that I started ignoring it. 2) During a phase during the "Covid time" when even our state was 100% open again, my spouse and caretaker was not allowed into the office. I would have understood a year ago, July 2020, but July 2021? 3) Early on, the staff tried to convince me to have a second procedure since I was going to be coming in for a procedure anyway. It was deemed unnecessary, but I was charged for their effort to sell me on the second procedure. Come on!"

"Washigton Gastroenterology, Dr. Butani, and staff provided excellent car and service from beginining to end. They made it easy to follow all instructions, order the prep for my procedure and to know what to do. Once I was in the office for my procedure, they took excellent care of me, and Dr. Butani performed an amazing job even though my colon was tough to scope. I feel confident for the next time I need to have a colonoscopy."

"This was my first experience with having a colonoscopy and I have to say, this clinic did a great job to make me feel less anxious and I felt supported in the prep work. I received daily phone calls about what steps I needed to take that day in the three day window beforehand and I received a call the next day to check in. The paperwork was helpful and I knew that I could call with questions if I had any. Everyone was very kind at my appointment and everything went well. Thank you for helping me through this process!"

"Dr. Butani has seriously given me the attention I needed when another local GI specialist would not. I was having horrible chest pains and my esophagus was closing. Dr. Butani was able to help diagnose this issue and help me work on treating it while in tandem working with my naturopath. I would give him 5/5 stars but his scheduling staff seriously needs to be trained in customer service. It is very evident from all the review below that this is a known issue. My first appointment was randomly cancelled after I made it and they left me a message to tell me it was getting cancelled while they verified my insurance. I had this appointment for over 2 weeks... I basically cried to everyone on the phone and they made it right, but I still do not think it should have happened in the first place. Dr. Butani though is fabulous and I highly recommend him!"

"I have been a few times for a colonoscopy. Great nurses and doctors are amazing!! They go above and beyond! The staff is well organized. The front staff does their job but there is not much personality there. All and all my experience with them was very good. Colonoscopies are never fun. The prep was much more trouble than the procedure."
"What really stood out to me was how pleasant and how well everyone on Dr. Wohlman's team worked together to provide my care. My experience was as a new patient (from Canada), referred by another physician. Scheduling wasn't an issue for me. I was pleased with the service on the phone making my initial appointment, and at reception. The nurse who did my intake was friendly and quick, and the team who took care of me for my procedure was outstanding. My doctor, Dr. Wohlman, was attentive, approachable, and clear. I'm really happy these are the people taking care of my colon."

"Dr and facilities are fine. I went to the Er with chest pains. Was referred here for an endoscopy. I was told by a nurse that my insurance would cover it. HOWEVER my insurance Molina marketplace is NOT contracted with Paceline, the company that handles the anesthesia. I am now dealing with a $500.00 bill I was not planning on. My mistake was thinking that when I was told it was covered I assumed the entire proceedure was. You get bills from 4 different entities, who,may or may not be contracted with whatever insurance you have. Its a crapshoot I guess. Don't believe what they tell you,do your own research. I will not be getting a follow-up endoscopy."
