Very short wait to see Dr. Cunningham. I didn't feel rushed and he answered all my questions. He is professional and knowledgeable. I really had a good feeling he cared. "To be honest I hardly have gone to see doctors in my life time but have seen enough for myself and family members and I can say one thing about Dr. Cunningham. He is a true professional in his field. A professional meaning to care about what he does. He greets you to get to know you, ask all sorts of questions that will help him to know what will be his plan of action to help you heal or get better. He's straight forward and like i said he listens to you because before he prescribes any one medication he talks to you and ask what medications you taken before and how did you react to them so he doens't prescribe something that didn't work before on you. "My colonoscopy went very smoothly and quickly. Everyone at the facility was professional, efficient and friendly. There was very little wait time before arrival and the procedure. The nurses made sure you understood everything that was happening. The anesthesiologist explained all options and what was going to happen. Dr. Cunningham and staff explained everything as well and made sure you were comfortable with everything involved with procedure. "My procedure was uneventful in the most candid way. The prep was the worse part of it but because I followed the instructions to a tee…the procedure went perfectly (easy to see what needed to be seen). I started the liquid meds at 5pm the night before, by 6:30pm I was on the pot constantly for about a 1.5 hours. I was able to sleep until my next dose at 2am and it was similar - I was on the pot in less than an hour this time and was freed from the toilet chain by 5am for the hour drive to the office for the procedure. They have a nice restroom and their office was open 30 min before my arrival which was perfect for my bathroom needs. My procedure was scheduled for 7am. Anyway, I shared all that because that was the worst part (which was all normal) of the colonoscopy. They put you in a ward-like room with curtain partitions in a gown (I was able to leave my bra and socks on-it was cold). I received an IV. They asked a bunch of questions, I answered and shared I was very nervous because it was my time to be put “under”-they said no worries, it’s a really only a light sleep, nothing more. I have low BP and I was afraid of not waking up. They wheeled me into the procedure room. I met Dr. Cunningham and his 2 side kicks (sorry I don’t remember their names or titles but one was a nurse who administered the sleep meds and one was dressed like Dr. Cunningham and seemed to begin prepping). Dr. Cunningham introduced himself and explained what was going to happen and what they would be looking for. The nurse told me to lay on my left side and explained the meds and administered it through my IV. She didn’t tell me to do this but I started counting back from 100… I think I remember 93, maybe it was only 96. I woke as I was being wheeled into the recovery ward. They were asking me to wake up and wanted to know if I wanted apple juice or water. After what seemed to be about 20min Dr.Cunningham came to my bed and explained everything went well and asked how I was feeling. I got dressed and they walked me to the back door where my husband grabbed my arm and walked me to the car, I think it was about 8:30am by then. I slept for the hour drive home. When I got home I slept for another 4 hours. I felt 100% (but a little drained) by 2pm the same day. I don’t have to go back for another 10 years but I will go to Dr. Cunningham again and I highly recommend him and his staff."

It's spacious, clean, COVID stations are accessible. Temperature checks is utilized at this location. Dr. Cunningham, what not what I anticipated he would look. He takes pride in his appearance and took even more pride and attentive to learning my history. I was given sample meds that have been helpful to get to a root issue! MOST IMPORTANT we had a plan set in place for when I return after he gathers a clear understanding from ALL my medical records. Five 🌟 for this location and doctor!!"

"Turns out I am a big chicken, the nearer the day drew for my colonoscopy to be performed I found myself overcome with anxiety. Not to the point of breakdown but enough to make my hands clammy and my stomach jittery. The R.N., Lorraine, took me in to review general information and then to Rosie, who set up a shunt for the I.V.,, stored my clothes and covered any additional questions or concerns. From the start everything was very organized and professionally managed. The staff will put you to ease and make you feel that they are there to serve and support your needs. This was a great relief since my anxiety level during the previous 22 hours was not enjoyable or pleasent. Once inside the treatment area, I received the same clear, concise communication from my physician and the staff. Recovery and discharge was quickly completed and we were on our way at 09:30. Communication prior to the procedure is to contact you as a reminder of the preparation required, etc. and any questions that arise are can be addressed by a call to the office."
