"I had an amazing experience getting my 5 year Colonoscopy follow-up with Doctor Singson. Dr. Singson performed my 1st colonoscopy in 2016 and performed my 2nd one in November 2021. She explained everything to me before I went into the procedure room and once in there I was given anesthesia and then I was waking up. I was rolled back to my pre-op room, got dressed and Dr. Singson returned to give me my diagnoses which was good. I have to return in 5years and after that I probably won't have to come back. Dr. Singson has a wonderful bed side manner and I felt so at ease and very safe with her. I highly recommend her and her team!"

When my primary physician referred me to Gastroenterology Consultants located at 5223 Hamilton Wolfe Rd. in San Antonio, I agreed with the expectation of routine procedure, routine process. I was incredibly impressed with the efficiency, timeliness, and professionalism from the moment I entered the building and up to the point of leaving and getting in my sisters car. My wait time was less than five minutes since they offer online pre-registration. I met in consultation with the nurse, the anesthesiologist, nursing assistants and Dr. Singson, who introduced herself, thoroughly explained the process and what I can expect, asked if I had any questions, and offered an incredibly reassuring style that really made me feel at ease. Dr. Singson and the whole team took their time in making sure this very nervous lady was not only reassured, but made me feel like my feelings really mattered to them. I was so impressed with all of them. Once it was time to leave, the nurse escorting me out, stood by my side and made very certain I knew and recognized the car and the person I was leaving in. I walked in at 6:30 a.m. and was leaving at 7:30 a.m. The professionalism, compassion, attention, and timeliness is absolutely second to none! "My appointment started off great right as I walked in the lady at the front counter greeted me. I waited less than 15 min and went to a private area. Within minutes a nurse came in and explained the next process and got my IV installed for the anesthesia. She actually found something we had in common and we talked about it. kind of put me at ease. They asked some questions to be sure the process would be ok to perform. The anesthesiologist came in and explained his process thoroughly. They transferred me into the exam room where I met Dr Zarema Singson The Great!! She then explained everything to me and made sure I had no questions for her. She also doubled checked to be sure the process could be done with no problems. Anesthesiologist put me to sleep in 10 seconds. Then I woke up, a nurse was right there. Gave me something to drink. Dr Zarema Singson came by and explained what she found and recommended that I retest in 7 years. It was 1.5 hours from the time I arrived to the time I left just liked they told me. I highly recommend Dr Zarema Singson and her staff!!"

"I was so impressed on my recent visit to Dr Singson. I was scheduled for a Colonoscopy and concerned with safety due to current Covid situation. However, once I got to their clinic, I was very pleased. No one is allowed in the waiting rooms other than the patients, all staff was wearing masks and the face shields, even the nursing staff in the surgical area. Once in the surgical area the anesthesiologist was not only wearing excellent face covering but in addition, a complete plastic coat covering him. I was asked to wear my mask the entire time, even while under anesthesia. Every safety precaution seemed to be taken, which was very comforting. Great experience! "Dr Singson has done at least my last two colonoscopies, as far as I remember. You only see the doctor for a minute before you go to sleep. But recently I knew I needed an endoscopy. For some reason I did not think of her office, and I contacted a different gastro group. I was mistaken about some of the facts surrounding this doctor and I wasn't happy with the fact that he wanted me to have an extra procedure that I did not need at this time, and it would be two months before they could schedule an appointment for the endoscopy. Then I remembered Dr. Singson and contacted them immediately. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly to talk to her about my issues. It was nice to be able to talk to her. I prefer female doctors because I feel they know our bodies better. She took the time to listen to me, make recommendations, and set an appointment that would work for me. "I had a problem 6 years ago and I saw Dr. Singson. I recently had to see her again. I got an appointment quickly but due to the weather everything was closed. On Friday of the bad weather week I received a phone call, if I could go the next day Saturday at 09:30am. I even repeated Saturday which is unheard of. "I traveled to San Antonio for business when I started having abdominal pain. I contacted Dr.Singson’s office and explained my situation and they were able to get me in the next day! At my appointment I was checked in quickly and barely waited fifteen minutes before I was brought back to the room. It was clear to me the facility took infection control seriously as the place was spotless and everyone was wearing masks and following social distancing guidelines. I met Dr.Singson who did a thorough assessment of my medical history and did a thorough physical examination. She was very knowledgeable and explained her findings and what she thought the possible issues could be. She then recommended testing. The doctor was empathetic and patient with all my questions. I was so relieved. At checkout I was set up with my testing appointments that were carried out the next day! I had my answers for why I had abdomen pain and was able to choose the best treatment within such a short amount of time. They provide an app that they post all your results to as well as treatment notes which was great for continuity of care to show to my primary physician in my home state.
