"My experiences with the medical team was superb with the exception of an employee named “Vanessa.” I believe she is one of the prep nurses who calls the patient to inform them about the required diet before the procedure. This woman called me and she was mean, rude, angry, overbearing and overly demanding. Particularly, when I tried to explain that my transportation was being provided by a paid third party and I didn’t know if that gave me the flexibility to simply change schedules because she insisted on it. Her customer service / patient skills were abysmal. Other than my experience with her, everyone else there I met was great! I think highly of Dr. Cho and the entire medical staff there. "The experience was very good. The entire medical team was compassionate, gentle and caring from the point of check in to recovery. And even post procedure followup to make sure I was doing okay after the appointment. My only other comment is around the testing results. I havent heard from the team yet. I know in most cases no news is good news but it would just offer another level of comfort to hear directly from the Doctor."

"I was baffled by the communication style of Dr Ryan. It was an extremely polite and conversational style of interaction , not just a survey type where you answer yes/no Once the initial triage was over he went over information on what could be causes, what are the triggers, all of this using images, animation etc. His full intention/focus was to fully educate me of the condition and make me comfortable. He used phrases like “I try to do this and not fully achieve it” “you can try this”… He made sure i was super comfortable throughout having constant comms with me. Around the decision making part and also treatment plans, he helped to make decisions without siding with any specific option and it gave me and my wife a very good feeling about what we should do next. We spent a total of 45 mins which i’ve never spent with any doctor. If you are looking for a Gastroenterologist Dr Ryan Cho is the one."
"Dr. Cho is an excellent GI doctor who not only has the amazing bedside manners that he’s known for but also he’s passionate about being up to date on new research and educating his patients on that too. He very patiently and kindly answers all my questions as he truly cares for his patients and never rushes appointment. He’s thorough with his evaluation and has the patient’s best interest in his mind. When I had a question that I forgot to address during the appointment and submitted that through the patient portal, he himself called me within hours to address it instead of letting one of his care team members address it. Also, he does not have the arrogance that some doctors can carry. He treats his patients with so much respect. It’s doctors like him who reassure us that humanity still exists and makes us really respect and appreciate the amount of hard work and the schooling/training they go through in order to help their patients. "It has been a long time since I have been pleasantly surprised by a medical professional. Too often I am not given important information and feel silly for asking questions. I end up researching the internet for answers. I have been dealing with a gastro issue and it has really shut down my life. I was feeling desperate for help when I made an appt with Dr Ryan Cho, MD. From entering the room and introducing himself until I left the office he exuded interest in me and a thorough knowledge of my issues. He listened to me completely and asked pertinent questions. He explained things and often pulled up graphics on his laptop/Ipad. He double checked my symptoms and answered all of my questions with great care. He was also kind and empathetic!! When I left he had already sent in a prescription for me and told me what to expect over the next few weeks. 3 days after my appt I thought of a question I had forgotten to ask so I set up a patient portal account and went online posting a question hoping a nurse would reply soon. I was again surprised when just hours later Dr Cho himself called me and answered my question. How rare is that?! My treatment is still ongoing and I will be seeing him again. I really appreciate his professional knowledge and care."

"Dr Cho performed my routine colonoscopy. He was very friendly and everything went smoothly. Upon recovery, I realized I was lying on a wet pad. I asked Dr Cho what had happened and he explained that he used water instead of gas. I did not experience the gas release pain that I have in the past with other doctors. I suppose my only feedback would be that I would have liked to have known that going in rather than wondering if there had been a problem after I came out in a wet bed. I did not know what liquid it could be and it was a bit unsettling. All else was top notch and all the assistants were friendly and did a super job of making me comfortable. The no gas release pain was AAAAA++++++!!!!!!! Thank you Dr Cho!"

I would have given a 5 Star review, but the person checking people in was rude. She chastised the Nurse in front of people. If it were my practice I would have fired her butt on the spot.
