"I recently had my first colonoscopy, and after much trepidation before the procedure, I was very pleased that it went quite smooth. Other than the prep (which everyone knows is less than fun) the actual process of the colonoscopy was very easy and even relaxing. Dr. Mehta has a very professional demeanor and yet his bedside manner is friendly and calming. He makes you feel as though you are his only patient at that time, and will spend as much time as necessary explaining the procedure and answering questions. All in all it was a very good experience."

"I came to Dr. Mehta in May of 2018 for a colonoscopy and it was discovered that I had a softball sized tumor in my large intestine. With that I began a journey through stage 4 colon cancer. Three years, many surgeries, 30+ rounds of immunotherapy, and a lot of setbacks later I’m in full remission. Not sure Dr. Mehta thought he’d see me again after that first visit, but he was delighted to see me and was impressed with how well I’m doing. As for the procedures themselves, he and his staff were prompt, professional, and I had no discomfort at all (except finding out I had cancer after the first colonoscopy, but that’s what I was there for). Dr. Mehta is also a skilled diagnostician. I have to get a sigmoidoscopy every year for the rest of my life, so Dr. Mehta will see a lot of me in the coming years (hopefully). Don’t wait to get a colonoscopy if you’re experiencing GI issues, especially if you have a family history of GI cancers. I did and I do, and it almost cost me my life."

"I came to Dr. Mehta in May of 2018 for a colonoscopy and it was discovered that I had a softball sized tumor in my large intestine. With that I began a journey through stage 4 colon cancer. Three years, many surgeries, 30+ rounds of immunotherapy, and a lot of setbacks later I’m in full remission. Not sure Dr. Mehta thought he’d see me again after that first visit, but he was delighted to see me and was impressed with how well I’m doing. As for the procedures themselves, he and his staff were prompt, professional, and I had no discomfort at all (except finding out I had cancer after the first colonoscopy, but that’s what I was there for). Dr. Mehta is also a skilled diagnostician. I have to get a sigmoidoscopy every year for the rest of my life, so Dr. Mehta will see a lot of me in the coming years (hopefully). Don’t wait to get a colonoscopy if you’re experiencing GI issues, especially if you have a family history of GI cancers. I did and I do, and it almost cost me my life."
