About Thomas Kepczyk, M.D.
Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I loved the intellectual challenge of internal medicine, but also liked doing surgical procedures. Gastroenterology fit both.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
I do not have a specific interest, as I enjoy all aspects of Gastroenterology.
Where did you study?
I did my Medical school training in Arizona and my internal medicine training and gastroenterology fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center. I then taught gastroenterology at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center.
What certifications do you hold?
Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
We love to travel, hike and fish.
Do you have any special honors or recognitions in your medical career that you would like to share?
I am a Fellow in the American College of Physicians and a Fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology.
Do you fluently speak any other languages in addition to English?
German.

The prep I chose was very easy to complete and since I had an afternoon appointment I was able to rest well at night. Thank you for the prep options.
The colonoscopy was done fast. The surgery center staff was very friendly and Dr. Kepczyk.
Everything in the doctor’s practice moved so easily. The only thing that took too much time was finding a parking space. There was an inviting waiting area and helpful office personnel. I had no wait time to see the nurse and about two minutes to see the doc. My time with Dr. Kepchek was leisurely. He explained my procedure easily and the questions I asked we answered in a way I could understand
You should go see Dr. Kepczyk if you need a gastroenterologist , he is an amazing MD He took his time and explained everything throughly . Hard to find a doctor that you don’t feel like you are rushed these days .
Superb staff. Efficient, yet very personable & professional. Dr Kepczyk is highly respected & provides excellent care. I am an RN and would only choose Dr Kepczyk for my physician.
