About Glenn Young, M.D.
Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I really enjoy doing GI procedures.
Where did you study?
I attended Asbury College for my undergraduate studies. I then attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas for my medical degree. Following this I completed my internship at the University of Arkansas Medical Center. I then completed my residency and fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX.
What certifications do you hold?
Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love visiting my 6 daughters and 15 grandchildren.
Do you have any special honors or recognitions in your medical career that you would like to share?
Army Commendation Medal for service at Fort Hood, TX.
