After graduation from Mississippi College, he enrolled at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Once he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from UHS-COM, he began his medical training in Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
