Reviews
I have been Dr. Akerman's patient since I moved to RI (20+/-) years ago. Since colon cancer runs in my family I get Colonoscopies (and now Endoscopies) every 3 to 5 years. He and his staff are top notch! He explains everything and answers any questions (and boy do I ask questions, LOL). His P.A. Mary is excellent too. She returns calls quickly, very smart and caring. I have had many procedures done by Dr. Akerman over the years and do highly recommend him to friends and family.
I have been seeing him for many years. He has saved me from an operation that wasn't neccessary. I totally trust him
Dr. AKERMAN was amazing! He made me feel incredibly safe during my procedure, even holding my hand while I received anesthesia. The anesthesiologist and nurses, especially Anna, Julie, and Randy, were also fantastic. Highly recommended!
