“I was drawn to gastroenterology because of the wide range of disease processes and the important role endoscopy plays as both a diagnostic and therapeutic instrument in helping to address these conditions. My goal is to partner with patients in their care so that we can share a clear understanding of their conditions and collaboratively develop treatment plans. I also believe in combining a healthy lifestyle of diet, exercise, and mindfulness with evidence-based medicine to achieve the best outcomes and quality of life.”

In his free time, Dr. Kwak enjoys spending his time outdoors, hiking, biking, or skiing.
