About Jean Mbachu, M.D.
Dr. Jean Mbachu is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Texas Digestive Disease Consultants (TDDC). She performs routine GI procedures such as EGDs, colonoscopies, pill-camera endoscopy all in the diagnosis, screening, and surveillance of gastrointestinal disorders and cancers. In addition, she also specializes in liver disorders including hepatitis, fatty liver, and cirrhosis. She is fluent in English. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.

Very professional and personal. Also very thorough.
Dr. Mbachu impressed me as a professional who knew what she was doing. Her pre- and post-procedure explanations were thorough and she answered all my questions. I would choose her again.
I'm a new patient but I really like Dr. Mbachu. No nonsense. Comes up with a plan to go forward. Explains things. Has humor and seems like just an all around nice person. Hopefully I'll still like her after my procedure 🤣. But no kidding. She's awesome.
