Dr. Blumenstein has expertise in all areas of gastroenterology. He has a particular interest in liver and biliary tract disease, treatment of Barrett’s esophagus, inflammatory bowel disease as well as colon cancer.
Dr. Blumenstein has performed more than twenty thousand endoscopic procedures. He is skilled in the latest treatment for Barrett’s esophagus: Radio Frequency Ablation (HALO), as well as ERCP for diseases of the bile ducts and gallstones. Dr. Blumenstein strives to practice the highest quality of medical care with a focus on individual patient needs.

Dr Blumenstein has been my doctor for over 20 years and I cannot thank him enough for being my doctor. The nurses during the colonoscopy procedures are simply the best.
Been seeing Dr. Blumenstien for over 5 years. He helped diagnose me, saved my life and my liver. He's a serious doctor with a direct bedside manner. I never felt as if he was being rude or rushed. He understands how terrifying internal problems can be and treats patients to his best ability. (He even let me keep my liver biopsy, little bits in microscope slides!)
