I love the combination of procedural and cognitive work. Also, I had inspiring role models in the field.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
I enjoy a variety of community based GI care: inflammatory bowel disease, biliary problems, hepatology, and colon cancer screening.

University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and University of California.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
Travel, food and wine and golf.

Excellent service and care.
I've been a patient of Dr. Dewar for many years. In as much as his practice has grown, he has remained the same. He is relatable, genuinely cares about his patients, and he listens. Not only that, but knows how to empathize. His staff is quite efficient. I was in and out of his office, without the extended wait times I've experienced with other physicians. No one likes to have a Colonoscopy, but I feel at ease when that time comes, because of Dr. Dewar.
