Every one there is very nice and attentive
Had a very positive experience. Starting with the scheduler up to the encounter with the Mansfield Endoscopy Center.
First time visit at GI Alliance by recommendation of M. Copeland as I am not from Texas (from Indiana) and not familiar with any healthcare providers. I have worked in healthcare as an ICU Nurse for the last 34 years until my recent retirement last month.
I recognized the compassion, respect and dignity I was given. Every individual I encountered was extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable. They addressed my comfort needs (having every item I had to put on was warm, which I greatly appreciated since I am a cold natured person).
The nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr Odunsi/had excellent bedside manner and demonstrated AIDET ( for those who do not work in healthcare, the letters stands for: Acknowledge: Greet the patient by name, make eye contact, and smile.
Introduce: Introduce yourself by name.
Duration: Give the patient an idea of how long a procedure or process will take.
Explanation: Provide a clear description of what's happening.
Thank you: Thank the patient )very well.
Another thing I was impressed with was the cleanliness and organization of the facility along with low noise level plus being given written information upon discharge along with photos of what was seen inside during the colonoscopy procedure and explanation sheets of the finding and what the next steps would be.
Yes. Dr Odunsi came to the bedside to explain the findings but when you are coming from anesthesia your memory retention is not retaining much information however having written communication was very helpful.
If you are visiting Texas or reside in Texas and have circumstances that may warrant GI medical need I would highly recommend GI Alliance at the Mansfield location
Lastly the facility sends you home with a Thank you card included with everyone personal signature, that is unique.
Once again my personal experience was phenomenal

Dr. Odunsi has great bedside manner. She breaks medical information down to where it's easy to understand. I feel confident that she does what's absolutely best and will continue to follow up when needed.

Dr. Shiyanbade was a great doctor. My procedure went well. She was very knowledgeable.
I went to see Dr. Odunsi for the first time, and she was very sweet. She checked me through and knew that I was hurting. She ordered a procedure. She is very professional and is well acknowledged. I like her. Also, all her staff were very nice. My husband had a little accident outside the office and the staff came and checked on him to see if he was ok. My husband was very impressed with their care.

Dr. Odunsi has one of the best bed side manners and is very articulate about what your body needs to get well. She is very detailed and thorough asking all the right questions, but actually LISTENING to what you say to her. What I like most is she reviews everything spoken and makes plans to treat you quickly Vice waiting for something else to happen. You leave her office feeling confident that great things will happen for you. Thank you
