About Stuart Akerman, M.D.
Dr. Akerman is fellowship-trained in many advanced endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, fine needle aspiration, and cholangioscopy. He practiced in Bayshore, NY, for several years before relocating to the North Texas area. It is very important to him to be able to work with other physicians in the practice who are also advanced endoscopists. This allows Dr. Akerman to provide these complex procedures in a timely manner to serve his patients better.

Recent colonoscopy for my husband. All communications were clear from prep to where to go and when to arrive. Thankful for good test results.

The process was extremely easy. From the meeting at Dr. Akerman's office to the day of the procedure, everything went smoothly. Dr. Akerman explained everything, met with me before and after the procedure, and followed up. Highly recommended.
