About Taryn Silverstein, D.O.
Dr. Taryn Silverstein is originally from Miami but was raised here in Wellington. She attended undergraduate school at Washington University in St. Louis where she obtained her degree in Anthropology and completed a pre-medical curriculum. During her junior year, she was lucky enough to study abroad in Sydney Australia, this was followed by a year moving across the southeastern US doing service projects with AmeriCorps NCCC. She then returned to South Fla to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and subsequently spent 7 years at the University of Massachusetts completing her training in internal medicine, serving as chief resident and completing her fellowship in gastroenterology. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Silverstein initially became interested in gastrointestinal diseases in childhood as her brother was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at young age. Her passion has only grown since that time and she continues to enjoy caring for patients with a variety of gastrointestinal disorders.
Dr. Silverstein is excited to be back home in Florida at Gastroenterology Associates of Florida and is thrilled to be raising her family in the same area where she grew up.
In her free time, Dr. Silverstein is interested in nutrition and yoga. She also loves to dance, paint, travel and spend time with her wonderful husband and two sons.

Dr. Silverstein is the most caring, sincere and AMAZING DR. ever!! She's ALWAYS has been AMAZING, since the day she started seeing and treating me many years ago!! I would HIGHLY recommend her, however, I don't want her too be too popular as then it may take me awhile to get an appt. with her!! :-)

I am so glad that I came to this office. The staff is amazing, very friendly and professional. There is always a way to commit with the office weather it's through the portal or calling. Then of course there is Dr. Silverstein who is amazing. She listens to you, then we talk through our options to find the best solution. I'm so happy I made the change over to her.
