About Taryn Silverstein, D.O.
Dr. Taryn Silverstein is originally from Miami but was raised here in Wellington. She attended undergraduate school at Washington University in St. Louis where she obtained her degree in Anthropology and completed a pre-medical curriculum. During her junior year, she was lucky enough to study abroad in Sydney Australia, this was followed by a year moving across the southeastern US doing service projects with AmeriCorps NCCC. She then returned to South Fla to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and subsequently spent 7 years at the University of Massachusetts completing her training in internal medicine, serving as chief resident and completing her fellowship in gastroenterology. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Silverstein initially became interested in gastrointestinal diseases in childhood as her brother was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at young age. Her passion has only grown since that time and she continues to enjoy caring for patients with a variety of gastrointestinal disorders.
Dr. Silverstein is excited to be back home in Florida at Gastroenterology Associates of Florida and is thrilled to be raising her family in the same area where she grew up.
In her free time, Dr. Silverstein is interested in nutrition and yoga. She also loves to dance, paint, travel and spend time with her wonderful husband and two sons.

Reviews
Taryn is the absolute best. Really nice staff. Cant say enough good things about her practice. Highly recommend!
I am so glad I found Dr. Taryn Silverstein, she is a fantastic listener and wants to collaborate with you in addressing your health. The only downside was it did take me over 6 months of waiting for an available appointment to establish as a new patient. Nevertheless, I feel I am now in wonderful hands.
Dr. Silverstein never gives up on me and believe me it’s easy to give up on me because I’m such a pain and I’m such a problem. Thank you, Dr. Silverstein
Doctor Silverstein is the most knowledgeable and patient doctor ever. She is very compassionate and diligent. She has an absolutely wonderful team to coordinate everything.
At first I was very nervous but from the time I walked into the center , I was greeted with warm welcome, every staff was very polite , professional and respectful , when I saw Dr Silverstein I felt more at ease, the team staff who was with me said I was in great hands, I was comforted and before I know it I was done, I thank everyone who saw me that day, till this day I feel no pain or discomfort, I highly recommend Atlantis Outpatient Center , thank you .
