About Scott D. Becker, M.D.
Dr. Scott Becker has practiced in Austin since 1990. He attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Boston City Hospital, and his fellowship in gastroenterology at Boston University Medical Center.
During that time, he received a research fellowship grant from the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. He served as instructor and assistant professor of medicine at University Hospital at Boston University Medical Center from 1988-1990.
Dr. Becker is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is the director of clinical research for Austin Gastroenterology.

The Doctor and staff were great to deal with. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I’m receiving additional diagnostic work, but Dr. Becker was great in clearly explaining everything. I highly recommend this Practice.
Dr. Becker was kind and patient. He answered all my questions fully. Staff was professional and proficient. Office is very clean and has comfortable seating.
Scheduled my first appointment within 2 weeks and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved Dr. Becker. You don’t exactly love a colonoscopy but I’m anticipating this not being so horrible.
