Sarah Sprouse, M.D.

Gastroenterologist

About Sarah Sprouse, M.D.

Dr. Sarah Sprouse is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Sprouse is a general gastroenterologist, treating all GI issues. As a female gastroenterologist she does focus on women’s gastrointestinal health, providing a safe environment for women to discuss their gastrointestinal concerns.

Dr. Sprouse chose gastroenterology because it allows for a blend of intellectual practice in managing chronic disease, along with performing procedures. It allows for variety in her practice that continues to keep her learning. She is able to establish relationships with patients and provide long term care for those with chronic GI diseases, perform preventive care through screening colonoscopy and manage emergencies in the inpatient setting.

Dr. Sprouse aims to provide a safe environment where patients can feel comfortable discussing their concerns and feel they are heard and their issues are fully addressed. She will review options for treatment and testing and involve patients in the decisions in their care.

Dr. Sprouse obtained her medical degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She then went on to complete her Medical Residency and Fellowship at the University of Washington.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, skiing, cooking, reading and knitting.
