Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
My first exposure to Gastroenterology came through a friend who has Crohn’s disease. Seeing and understanding his experience with his chronic digestive condition provided the inspiration to learn more about the field. What I love about Gastroenterology is the breadth of our practice and the ability to change lives so many different ways: in the immediate with procedures to control life-threatening conditions such as internal bleeding, cancer prevention through colonoscopy, and managing chronic life-long digestive conditions like inflammatory bowel disease.
Do you have a specialty of interest in Gastroenterology?
I have a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, autoimmune conditions such as eosinophilic esophagitis, and colon cancer prevention and screening.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy travel, road trips, hiking, playing and watching sports, writing, ready, and exploring museums and new restaurants.

Professional, knowledgeable and curious.
Dr. Mann and his team took great care of me and made a difficult experience as easy and efficient as they possibly could. I have had 3 colonoscopy procedures in my life and I highly recommend Dr. Mann and the Desert Endoscopy Center team. Thank you for the excellent care you provided!
Staff in front office has wonderful people skills. Very pleasant environment and doctor was very kind.
Dr Mann was awesome, as was the entire staff!
Dr. Mann is a wonderfully patient, caring, and kind doctor. He assured me that he would be able to take care of a questionable condition with my colon and did so, finding no issues that I was previously told I had by a different doctor. Dr. Mann was my second opinion, but going forward he’s my doctor of choice and I highly recommend him.
