Sameer Veerani, NP

Sameer Veerani is a proficient, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). He has spent the last 20 years serving adults and geriatric populations primarily in an acute care hospital setting. He earned his master’s from Maryville University. He specializes in working with adults and seniors with multiple gastroenterology conditions, including IBS, GERD, IBD, and colon cancer screening. His education in the Psychiatric field helps him understand the psychological and functional causes of specific gastrointestinal illnesses.

Sameer is a highly enthusiastic, helpful, compassionate, and skilled professional with excellent communication skills, consistently going above and beyond to provide evidence-based care. He possesses excellent clinical skills in working with clients and their families, striving to achieve optimal outcomes.

His extensive experience in the ICU setting, spanning countless hours of nursing, helps him develop his intuition in dealing with complicated and challenging cases. Sameer has a great passion for his work and a deep sense of gratitude to have the honor of helping patients.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing bowling with friends and spending time with his son playing Soccer and Ping Pong over the weekends.
