About Robert M. Lee, M.D.
Dr. Robert Lee earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry with honors from Harvard College and his Doctor of Medicine degree at New York University School of Medicine. He attended Beth Israel Hospital in Boston for his Medical Internship and Residency training. Bob then attended the University of Chicago Hospitals for his Gastroenterology Fellowship, acquiring a grant to spend an extra three years there doing advanced studies. He is ABIM Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Lee has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease.
Bob is married and the father of two children. When not working, his hobbies include photography, videography and family time with his wife and children.
Dr. Lee treats patients on an individual basis. He talks “to” the patient, not “at” the patient, in order to understand their needs as a whole and in order to best help them. He believes in treating his patients how he would want his family to be treated.

Been going to Robert Lee for a long time he is wonderful caring and he is really helpful. When you can't figure your own systems out, he knows how to fix all the problems would highly recommend.
Dr Lee is a rare doctor, the type once you find you hold on to. Reason being is he actually cares AND follows through. Dr Lee is dedicated to the profession of medicine as it was meant to be. His tenacity and attention to detail saved my life as a younger person that wouldn't expect to need a colonoscopy. And l must mention - he is surrounded by a personable staff which is just "frosting on the cake".
I was always afraid and embarrassed to have a colonoscopy, I waited til I was 68. Wished I did it sooner. Dr. Lee made me feel so comfortable, and at ease, it was over in no time. He is really concerned about each and every patient and spends time with you until you feel comfortable and all your answers are asked. The people in the office are the same way.
