About Dr. Robert Klapheke

Why Gastroenterology?

Dr. Klapheke chose gastroenterology because it melds the art and science of medicine perfectly — it meets the challenge and complexity of digestive diseases with the innovative technology of interventional endoscopy and advanced diagnostic testing. Like all physicians, he chose this profession to help people and Dr. Klapheke feels well suited to do so in this field.

Patients can expect Dr. Klapheke to listen and engage with them empathetically. He enjoys teaching and will strive to make sure that patients feel they understand their condition and treatment plan. Patients with GI symptoms suffer from considerable stigma and he believes in actively supporting the whole person’s well-being in order to improve their quality of life.

Dr Robert L. Frachtman and staff were very professional, very friendly very knowledgeable, and they took the best care of me. They answered all the questions I had for them without any hesitation. I would recommend him and his staff to everyone I know and don't know. I loved my experience. They are the best.
