Why did you choose Gastroenterology?

I decided to pursue a career in gastroenterology at the age of 19, when I became fascinated by how the digestive system transforms the food we eat into the fuel our bodies need to function. I was drawn to the field’s combination of physiology, procedural medicine, and meaningful patient relationships.

What is your primary focus in GI?

I am interested in all aspects of gastroenterology, with a particular emphasis on shared decision-making and partnering with my patients to develop individualized treatment plans.

What is your approach to patient care?

Every patient has unique goals, values, and circumstances, and I strive to tailor my recommendations accordingly. I make every effort to explain the reasoning behind each step of the decision-making process so that my patients feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in their own health.
