About Rahul N. Julka, M.D.
Dr. Rahul N. Julka completed his college education at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, where he graduated with a Bachelor in Science degree in Health Sciences. He completed his medical school training and Internal Medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He then completed a Transplant Hepatology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE, followed by completion of his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. Following this, Dr. Julka attained ABIM board certification in the fields of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology. He has worked in private practice in Illinois and Indiana since 2009. He has also served previously as an instructor for medical residents and students.
Dr. Julka’s primary interests in Gastroenterology include colon cancer screening and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). His primary interests in liver disease include acute liver failure and hepatitis C. He is an active community lecturer on topics such as hepatitis C and colon cancer screening. Dr. Julka believes in providing excellent medical care with compassion, empathy, and an individualized approach for each patient. He is trained in esophagogastroduodenoscopy, esophageal dilation, colonoscopy, colon polyp removal, and percutaneous gastrostomy tube placement.

I've been a patient of this wonderful doctor for over 5 months. He performed my upper gI endoscopy on Sept 13th and was very careful and has always be very helpful with my gastritis, my medication, changes i need to make in my life and diagnosis. And as of now I feeling a 1,000 better, no excessive burping, stomach pains, not bloated or constipated all the time. For following and getting an appointment with Dr. Julka it's very easy and the staff is very considerate and well manner and kind as well too. I recommend and suggest anyone with stomach, con, digestive, etc, go see him. Don't waste your time in the ER or Urgebt Aide/Care like I did
Went in for upper GI and staff was excellent from front office to procedure room. Kudos to nurse Niomi who was very informative while multi tasking . Loved the atmosphere while being sedated, great choice of toons.

Great care! Everyone was very caring and explained everything from beginning to end. Usually I worry about being put to sleep but I have had no problems or concerns with this team.
