About Felix G. Rabito, M.D.
Dr. Felix G. Rabito Jr. received his undergraduate degree in biology from Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Rabito graduated with research honors in biology and finished his publication theses in freshwater biology in 1985. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Sciences Center in New Orleans. Upon graduation, he performed his residency at the University of Texas Health and Science Center, where he was awarded Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. He finished his fellowship in GI and Hepatology at the University of Texas. Dr. Rabito obtained his board certification in gastroenterology in 1997 and was recertified in 2007. Dr. Rabito is currently a resident of St Tammany Parish. He maintains active membership in The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Society of Gastroenterologists, The American Gastroenterological Association, and Louisiana State Medical Society. A partner of Gastroenterology Group, AMC, he has practiced in the Covington area since 1995 and has been with Gastroenterology Group since 1999. Dr. Rabito is an active staff member of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, and Ochsner-Northshore.
