“I was attracted to the intellectual challenges of GI disease such as inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and liver disease. I love having the opportunity to perform endoscopic procedures and work collaboratively with other specialists to give patients the best possible care and results.
I love the preventive care opportunities in colon cancer screening – stopping cancer before it starts. So many GI diseases can be treated and cured, and I like using therapies that help people feel better and live better. I always try to respectfully, actively and collaboratively engage my patients in their own care.
I am warm and caring, inquisitive and curious – and highly motivated to deliver the best care. Because I empathize with my patients, I work as hard as I can to improve their health and their quality of life.
In his free time, Dr. Pedersen enjoys mountain biking, skiing, water-skiing and participating in public educational programs for the Crohn’s and Colitis Association of America.”

My experience has been very good with this practice. My only difficulties have been when I have needed testing to be done that was to go through another office. I am Still waiting to hear from “ The other office”. I need to have a test done to measure internal pressure of my rectum and this is the second time we have tried to arrange this. Dr . Pederson Has a great bedside manner And is willing to answer any questions I bring.
I had a great visit with Dr. Pedersen. He was right on time. We discussed my health, he checked my vitals. He agreed to continue my prescription, and agreed he didn't need to see me for another year, unless something changes before then.
Dr Pederson’s staff was very professional and reassuring throughout my recent procedure. Always courteous and respectful.
Everyone was great, from the time I arrived in the reception area to the time I left. Dr. Pedersen and his staff are wonderful!

I first saw Dr Pedersen in 2023. I was impressed with how he listened to my concerns and addressed every one of them. Prior to that, I’d had a horrible and painful colonoscopy elsewhere with a different doctor and had avoided another for many years and was quite frightened. Dr Pedersen was gentle, thorough, and kind.
Now, a year later, I knew I could trust him and again received thorough advice to solve my problem and move forward.

Great experience with a doctor who takes the time to talk to you.
I always have a pleasant visit when I have to go for my appointment with Dr. Pedersen. He is very thorough and knowledgeable about my history. I don’t have to worry about anything when I get a call to come in for my usual routine check. I would recommend him to everyone that I speak to.
