About Nicholas Procaccini, M.D.
Why Gastroenterology?
During medical school and residency, I became fascinated with the multitude of disease processes in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. The mixture of consultative medicine, procedures and hospital care has kept me stimulated through the course of my practice.
What Can Patients Expect?
My role is to give patients the most up to date, evidence-based advice to best understand their health. I try to create a collaborative environment with my patients so they can make the most informed healthcare decisions for their individual situation.
Other Interests:
I am active in various sports (racquetball league, and tennis). I also enjoy skiing and travel with my wife and our teenage daughter. I speak Italian and am a dual Italian citizen.

Reviews
Dr. Procaccini is so personable and caring. He also made me laugh which is super important.
Dr Procaccini is not my regular GI doc. I enjoyed meeting him and felt very comfortable with him. He was very thorough in reviewing my medical history, answered all my questions and gave me his recommendations.
I was very nervous when I knew I needed a colonoscopy. Dr. Procaccini at the initial meeting before my test put all my fears at rest. Very easy to talk to, answered all my questions. Couldn't have a better Doctor. Staff was also 5 star!!! They took very good care of me and were so professional. My confidence never waivered. My entire procedure from start to finish was great. I will recommend Dr Procaccini and staff in a second.
I was looking for a second opinion and found a Dr. that took the time to explain my condition much better than my previous Dr. He also confirmed what my gut told me in a very kind and caring way. He asked me several times if I had any more questions and I never felt rushed. I’m very glad I found him. Thank You!
Meeting Dr Procaccini for the first time, I was instantly put at ease. I’m so happy to have a Dr who listens and cares.
