Michelle Hook, RN, MSN, APRN, FNP-C of Shelbyville, Indiana joined Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2025.  She holds both an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree from Hopkinsville Community College in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.  She graduated magna cum laude from her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Family Nurse Practitioner program at Purdue University Global, West Lafayette, Indiana.  She sees patients in Indianapolis.

Michelle’s training features the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the liver, pancreas, and GI tract.  She is certified in both ACLS and BLS and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

For recreation Michelle enjoys reading, cooking, and camping with friends and family.
