About Miles Medrano, M.D.
Dr. Medrano was born and raised in South Florida. He attended Duke University for his undergraduate degree and University of South Florida School of Medicine. He trained at a Yale University affiliated program in Greenwich, CT for internship and residency, then moved to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX for his gastroenterology fellowship.
In 2004, he was thrilled to move back home to South Florida where he has been a board certified gastroenterologist for almost 15 years. He takes pride in being a skilled endoscopist, having performed thousands of upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, and ERCP’s over the years. Coming from a family in which his father is from Mexico and his mother from New York, he was raised bilingual. He enjoys treating multicultural populations.
Since digestive issues can be complicated, he finds joy in forming lasting relationships with his patients and getting to know them in order to give them the best care possible. When he is not in the office, he spends as much time as possible with his wife and 2 wonderful children. He enjoys fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. He is also an avid runner, having completed many marathons and even 1 50-mile ultramarathon.
