About Matthew Meriwether, M.D.
Dr. Matthew Meriwether chose to specialize in Gastroenterology in order to care for patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions. Dr. Meriwether loves that the field combines an evolving understanding of the vital importance of the GI system on overall health with cutting-edge endoscopic treatments. He always strives to develop a personalized plan for each patient and work with them to achieve better health.
At home, Dr. Meriwether enjoys all sports and loves experiencing the outdoors with his growing family. He also enjoys helping his wife with furniture restoration projects, tending the garden, or just relaxing with a good book.

My appointment was great and without any issues. The workers were great and explained my procedure from point a to point z in terms I understood without question. The Doctor introduced himself and from that point things went on in a timely manner and before I knew it my procedure was done and over with. Things happened so fast I didn’t know I had been taken care of. The doctor explained his findings and what he did. He also explained that they would send me the results of the test in a week or so. I received my results via e-mail and a hard copy through the mail.I am very impressed with the service I received and I have already recommended Dr. Meriwether to several of my colleagues and friends. I couldn’t ask for better service than what I was given. The personal respect of the staff was phenomenal. I would have no problem with putting the Dr. and his staff on a pedestal. Loved it and will certainly look forward to my next visit in 5 years. Thank you and keep doing exactly what you did for me for all your clients which will make a colonoscopy a less scary procedure. All at this office are incredibly caring and are on top of tests results etc. Dr. Meriwether is caring and takes the time to listen and comfort
