About Laura Johnson, PA-C

Laura Johnson rejoined the Austin Gastroenterology team in January 2014 after previously working for Austin Gastro for eight years. She works under the supervision of Dr. Havemann.

After receiving her BS in biology from the University of Texas San Antonio and her physician assistant degree from the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Laura began her career as a respiratory therapist before transferring to Austin Gastroenterology.

Laura is a native Texan who enjoys spending time with her husband and eight-year-old son. She enjoys the unique challenges of the gastrointestinal field and is focused on developing caring relationships with her patients.

Education

Undergraduate Degree: BS Biology, University of Texas San Antonio
Physician Assistant Degree: University of Texas Southwestern
