In 1987, Dr. Gentry began his fellowship training gastroenterology and hepatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. His procedural skills include diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and endoscopy, and diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, including sphincterotomy and stent placement. Dr. Gentry enjoys spending time at the lake with his family, cheering on his children at their various sporting events, and mastering the art of outdoor cooking. He and his wife reside in Arlington with their five children.

This was my first colonoscopy. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gentry and he made me feel comfortable. He demonstrated an excellent bedside manner. I had some fear but, the process went smoothly with no problems. I am prepared for next one. If you feel like I did, no need to fear, it will be ok
