About Chia-Wen (Kevin) Hsu, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Kevin Hsu graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 1991 and received a master of public health from Harvard University in 1993. He completed his internship and residency training at the Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Hsu then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology.
Dr. Hsu has received research awards in gastroenterology and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals in gastroenterology. Additionally, he has presented many papers at prestigious national medical meetings. He speaks several foreign languages including Spanish and Chinese. Dr. Hsu has been practicing in Austin since 1999.

Dr. Hsu is great, he has done 2 colonoscopies and an endoscopy on me, always been easy to work with, he listens to me and seems to care. The whole team has been great and I will definitely see him again in a few years.

Staff was excellent at making the patient feel as comfortable as possible. Initial consultation with Yulia was helpful with information, verification, and assurance that the procedure would be routine and fairly short. Office personnel on the day of the procedure were great and assisted with guiding the information needed. Staff preparing for the procedure were kind, and performed their duties timely and with professionally. Anesthesia provider was informative and placed the patient at ease. Staff at procedure were upbeat and friendly. All around as good an experience as this could be.

Dr Hsu always puts me at ease about being at a GI doctor. He’s always treats me with respect, kindness and doesn’t order testing or medication that’s he doesn’t feel is needed. I would and do recommend him to everyone.
