Kevin Garza, M.D.

Gastroenterologist

About Kevin Garza, M.D.

Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

I chose gastroenterology because it allows me to build long-term relationships with patients living with chronic digestive conditions, while also giving me the opportunity to perform procedures that can make an immediate impact on their health and quality of life. Both aspects are deeply rewarding and keep my work meaningful and engaging.

Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?

Although I care for patients with the full spectrum of digestive health concerns, my areas of interest include celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, and colon cancer screening.

What Can Patients Expect?

I believe in working together to make decisions, taking time to explain likely outcomes, treatment options, and next steps so we can choose the best plan for your health.
