Kavea Panneerselvam, M.D.

Dr. Panneerselvam grew up in Houston and graduated from UT Austin to obtain her undergraduate degree (hook ’em!). She completed her medical school and residency in Houston at McGovern Medical School and the Baylor College of Medicine respectively. She then moved to San Antonio for Gastroenterology fellowship where she completed her GI training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Panneerselvam is excited to be continuing her journey in San Antonio and aims to provide comprehensive care to her patients. She treats patients with a wide variety of conditions and is interested in all aspects of digestive health including colon cancer screening, GERD, eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, and exploring national parks.
