The scheduling process for TDCC is atrocious. In June of 2025 I have called 3 times to try and get an appointment. Each time my call has been routed to a “call center” for appointments. No big deal except each call is 20 minutes of very intrusive medical questions. Again, standard and no big deal UNLESS they do it each time I call. On my 3rd attempt at booking an appointment I’m back at the “call center” and they begin with the information updating (again). They have to do the medical information verification (again). I asked for a Supervisor or a transfer to the actual office. I got to an office person and they didn’t’ have any of the very private and personal medical information I had already shared -TWICE! Where did all my information go? Why can’t the office see it? I’m disappointed and a bit concerned that my protected health information is stored on some random server overseas????? I really like Dr Martinez as a doctor - his bedside manner is top notch. But my time is as valuable as his, and my PHI is valuable and should be safeguarded. I will move on and away from Texas Digestive Disease Consultants - their attempt at efficiency is impersonal and way too time consuming for me.
