About Jeffrey Nadelson, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Nadelson is a Board Certified gastroenterologist who treats all GI issues, but has expertise in hepatology. He also completed an additional year of transplant hepatology fellowship.
Dr. Nadelson chose to specialize in gastroenterology because he can treat pathology from the esophagus to the colon. He enjoys treating diseases that can affect any part of the body along this pathway, including but not limited to the liver, stomach, colon and rectum. Oftentimes he is able to treat acute problems in the office or the hospital, but many patients have long-term issues and chronic conditions that he can focus on treating. Dr. Nadelson enjoys the ability to interact with patients both inpatient and outpatient. He takes great pride in performing procedures in patients at high risk for cancer and prescribing a preventative plan of treatment that can save lives.
Dr. Nadelson’s patients can expect that the diagnostic process will be patient-centered and a collaborative activity that involves information gathering and clinical reasoning in order to make the best treatment decisions for the patient.
Dr. Nadelson received his medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Medical Residency at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Nadelson completed his medical Fellowship at University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Nadelson enjoys traveling, watching all Boston sports teams, reading, and going to the beach in his free time.
