About Jason Ferreira, M.D.
Dr. Jason Ferreira is a Board Certified gastroenterologist who treats all gastro maladies, with a specific focus on advanced endoscopy and endoscopic interventions for the diagnosis, staging, and treatment of GI/pancreas cancers. Dr. Ferreira performs endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) to stage and obtain biopsies of pancreas and GI malignancies. He performs ERCP to relieve biliary obstruction for malignancy and stones. Dr. Ferreira also performs endoscopic cryoablation, radiofrequency ablation, and endoscopic mucosal resection to treat Barrett's esophagus with dysplasia and esophageal cancers.
Dr. Ferreira is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Ferreira received his medical degree from Brown University. He then went on to complete his Medical Residency at Harvard University/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Ferreira completed his GI Fellowship at Brown University and his Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Dartmouth University.
