Education
Undergraduate: Louisiana State University
Medical School: LSU School of Medicine – New Orleans
Residency & Fellowship: LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans
Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I became interested in GI at a young age because my father was a gastroenterologist. Despite that, I kept an open mind about specialties throughout medical school and residency. In the end, I found GI to be the most interesting.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
My family and I enjoy traveling, sailing and attending LSU football games.

Reviews
Dr. Lilly is fantastic and so is most of the staff. The only problem I had was the woman who oversaw my initial intake and prep.. She was cold, mean and rude. I waited in the cold with no way to warm myself under a sheet for over a half an hour before I got taken in for my procedure. Also, there was no explaining in advance as they stuck the port above my wrist near my arthritic thumb for which I’m about to get surgery. I found this very upsetting. Everyone else was great though and Dr. Lilly is fantastic.
My experience was great. All staff members were friendly and very caring about their job - love what they do.
The staff is so caring. They are very clear in their instructions, and making you comfortable.
As usual everyone was very courteous and professional. I didn’t have a long wait to see the doctor after checking, in which is a plus. Because I need to have a procedure done, the scheduling nurse came right in and set up the procedure and phoned in the necessary prescription before I left the office. It was a very positive experience.
He patiently listened to my symptoms & questions and did a great job of explaining everything. Thank you.
