About James Hakert, M.D.
Dr. Hakert has over 20 years experience as a board-certified gastroenterologist and internist. Some of his special interests include esophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), ulcer disease, colon cancer screening, liver disease, chronic abdominal pain, and hemorrhoidal banding. He is fully trained to perform upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and hemorrhoidal banding procedures.

Dr. Hakert is the best. He talks to me in a way I can understand.. Great bedside manner. I can really talk to him, and he listens. Great Doctor. Couldn't ask for a better doctor.. He is the best. I never have to wait a long time once I am called back to an exam room.

Dr. Hakert is awesome! He is extremely knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. He diagnosed my issue immediately and took time to explain things to me in a way I could understand. I highly recommend him!
Dr Hakert is great, except when he told me i will need to do another colonoscopy at 80 & 85!!! Ha! I rate him 5 stars!
