Reviews
Dr.Mayer is a great physician, he is kind, caring, thorough & attentive to your personal medical needs.
All office personnel were eager to help. Be able to communicate with a nurse coordinator makes problem solving easy,
Very thorough and accessible in explaining the entire process and results of my procedure. It is rare nowadays to have a physician be warm, genuine, personable and professional in my experience. Dr. Mayer checked all these boxes. Would recommend to anyone.
The Doctor and Staff are magnificent people who are always professional, kind, helpful, and informative. When a patient contacts the office by phone, all questions are answered ; what is most impressive is if you are promised a returned call, the call is actually returned as promised. It is really a delight to go to this office.
Having been a patient of Dr. Mayer for almost five years now (since I relocated here), I have never experienced a negative encounter with him. As a patient, I am somewhat of an enigma due to gastrointestinal issues that are complicated by cardiovascular conditions. With all of the complications associated with multi-system issues, he has demonstrated a high level of knowledge about my care. I have literally been rescued from death more than once by him. I am treated with respect by him and he considers what I have to say regarding my physical condition. When my blood work revealed things that were outside of his scope of practice, he referred me to great doctors who are now part of my health care team. The care of my health is explicitly entrusted to him. Another physician had suggested that I needed scopes, but he did not feel that they were necessary, even though he could have done them and made money off of them. If I am in the hospital, it is he who sees me and follows my case. His recall of my medical history is an impressive feat. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Gastroenterologist.
