About Edward Pensa, M.D.
Dr. Edward Pensa is a Board Certified gastroenterologist who treats all GI issues and spends most of his time with colorectal cancer screening, acid reflux, IBS and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Pensa loves the opportunity to have a practice that combines office work as well as procedures both in and out of the hospital setting. He sees many patients for chronic issues such as Crohn's disease which allow for the development of long term professional relationships. He strives to listen well to patients and develop a collaborative approach to addressing long term care.
Dr. Pensa received his medical degree from University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete his Medical Residency at George Washington University. Dr. Pensa completed his medical Fellowship at Brown University.
In his free time, Dr. Pensa enjoys running, skiing, and anything outdoors.

I am a new patient of Dr. Pensa. He performed my endoscopy.( Celiac disease, Nausea, Bloating, Stomach discomfort)He was so kind, professional and thorough. Explained everything, and made whole process so easy. I was very anxious and he and his staff put me at such ease!! Nurses both in the prep, procedure and recovery rooms were SO SWEET!!! He's a great physician, with a wonderful bedside manner. He takes his time explaining everything. I will always believe he saved my life if it wasn't for the CT Scan he sent me for.
