About Lucas M. Drake, M.D.
Bloomington, Indiana native, Dr. Lucas M. Drake, is the Medical Director and a member of the Board of Managers for The Endoscopy Center at St. Francis. Dr. Drake sees patients in Indianapolis.
Dr. Drake graduated from Indiana University in 2000 and later earned his Doctor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship, Residency, and Gastroenterology Fellowship with advanced training in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Drake joined Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2011.
Dr. Drake has participated in medical mission trips in Africa and Haiti. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and has been recognized by Castle Connolly as one of the region’s Top Doctors. For recreation, Dr. Drake and his family enjoy traveling.

The entire experience was good. From the check-in to the nurses to the anesthesiologist to the doctor that performed the procedure all went very well and the people that helped me were people people and it’s good to work with others and not just so much technology.
Went in to see Dr Drake and he listened to everything about the symptoms I am having! Very thorough and insightful! Created a plan of action to see what is going on and how to treat it! Highly recommend!
