I was apprehensive about having to go thru a colonoscopy. I hadn’t ever been under anesthesia or had any procedures, previously.. Dr. McMyler and all the staff were amazing. Each step was explained by the appropriate staff member and they asked for questions or any concerns and each staff member went on to the next person. It was a giant well oiled machine. I was comfortable and well informed the whole time. For what it was, it was overall not bad for a medical preventative procedure.

First meeting with Dr. McMyler. Very professional demeanor, seemed very interested in my history and what it meant for my current medical issues. Asked lots of questions about what I was experiencing and what medications I was taking. Gave me a plan for what tests she wanted in order to make an informed decision about whether the possibility of surgery was needed. I felt confident in her as a gastro dr. to be able to help me.

The process of the procedure is smooth from checking in all the way to getting out. The staff are superb with their bed manners...they let you know what they will do and follow through. I was asleep during the entire procedure and went home feeling like nothing happened! A staff called the day after to check and see how I was doing. Though I was not thrilled with the result but I was grateful for the care from everyone! thank you!!!
