About David Pryor Jones, D.O.
A former Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army, Dr. Jones proudly served in Iraq in 2008 as Chief of Medical Services and Acting Deputy Commander of Clinical Services. From 2005-2010, Dr. Jones served as Chief of Gastroenterology at Brooke Army Medical Center, one of the largest gastroenterology fellowship training centers in the country. His commitment to ensuring the highest quality training of GI physicians as well as fostering patient-centered education is evident by his continued service at the national level on the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Training Committee.
At an early age, Dr. Jones was faced with a decision: pursue a career in music or study medicine. Despite his love for playing the piano and guitar, he found his life’s calling as a gastroenterologist. Dr. Jones is passionate about quality health care and through his role on the American College of Gastroenterology’s Patient Care Committee, empowers his patients to become active participants in their own healthcare decisions. Dr. Jones is married and has 3 wonderful children. He enjoys participating in his children’s sporting events and continues to play the piano and guitar.

Reviews
As with most people, I hated having to get a colonoscopy. That being said, Dr. Jones and his staff were exceptional. From the front desk to everyone behind the scene, they were kind and personable and put me at ease. I highly recommend the Toepperwein location.
Everyone here is so professional but still take the time to listen & answer any & all of your questions. The facility is state of the art. The nurses are remarkable. Dr David Jones is the best! My 3rd time with him over the years & he has always taken such good care of me during & after my procedures. I am especially impressed with how Dr Jones visits with you after your procedure to ensure you have no additional questions, tells you what you can or cannot do & throughly explains everything that was done & why. Dr Jones is very caring & I am glad he is my Dr. Looking forward to seeing him again in the future
I was very impressed with the excellency of the staff, and especially with Dr. Jones as he listens well and gives you eye contact the whole time you are talking to him. I felt like I was being heard. He thoroughly answered all my questions.
Dr. Jones and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Jones listened to everything I said. He completed his exam, and explained everything to me in a manner and with terminology I could understand.
Efficient staff and Dr. Jones has great bedside manner.
